Starkey Ranch has both an MPOA and a Community Development District (CDD). The MPOA is responsible for maintaining compliance with the established Declaration of Easements, Covenants, and Restrictions; including the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). In November 2021, the MPOA Board was turned over to the community and consists of elected residents who have volunteered to oversee the daily functions and financial responsibilities of the Association.
The CDD is a quasi-governmental entity that ensures professional management of the community. The CDD builds, operates and maintains parks, pools, playgrounds, trails and other amenities, and ensures that common areas are appropriately maintained. The CDD also administers the trash collection in the community.
